How electric control valves control various factors of pipeline media

Electric control valves use power to drive electric actuators, which in turn drive valves to throttle flow. They are important executive unit instruments in industrial automation process control. As the degree of automation in industrial fields continues to increase, they are being increasingly applied in various industrial production fields. Compared with traditional pressure control valve series, electric control valves have obvious advantages: electric single-seat control valves are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and easier and more convenient to install.

Electric control valves receive signals from industrial automation control systems to drive differential pressure control valve series doors, adjusting the cross-sectional area between the valve core and valve seat to control process parameters such as flow rate, temperature, and pressure of the pipeline medium, thereby achieving automated regulation functions.

The electric actuator of the electric sleeve control valve adopts an integrated electronic structure with a built-in servo amplifier. By inputting control signals and power supply, the valve opening can be controlled to regulate process parameters such as pressure, flow rate, liquid level, and temperature. Note: To ensure the regulating valve functions normally during startup and the system operates safely, new valves must be inspected before installation to verify that the nameplate markings on the valve match the design requirements.

Third: If the regulating valve in the original system has undergone major repairs, in addition to verifying the above items, the sealing integrity of the packing gland and connection points of the old valve must also be inspected.

Article 4: In field applications, many issues with control valves are not caused by the valve itself but by improper installation or use of electric control valves, such as inappropriate installation environment, position, or direction, or unclean piping.

Article 1: Control valves are field instruments and require an ambient temperature range of -25°C to 60°C and relative humidity of 95%. If installed outdoors or in high-temperature environments, waterproofing and cooling measures should be taken. In areas with vibration sources, the valve should be kept away from the vibration source or additional vibration-proof measures should be taken.

Article 2: Electric control valves should generally be installed vertically. In special cases, they can be installed at an angle. If the angle is large or the valve is too heavy, additional support components should be added to protect the valve.

Article 3: Pipelines where control valves are installed should generally not be too high above the ground or floor. When the pipeline height exceeds 2 metres, a platform should be provided to facilitate operation of the handwheel and maintenance.

Fourth: Before installing the electric control valve, the pipeline should be cleaned to remove debris and weld slag. After installation, to ensure no impurities remain inside the valve body, the valve should be cleaned again. When introducing the medium, all valves should be fully open to prevent impurities from getting stuck. After using the handwheel mechanism, it should be returned to its original neutral position.

Article 5: To ensure that the production process can continue in the event of a malfunction or maintenance of the electric control valve, a bypass pipeline should be installed for the control valve.
